For many years, BNU Kindergarten has adhered to excellent tradition and had high regard for educational research as a guide to enhancing the teachers and teaching. Over the years, preschool education experts and professors have been invited to the Kindergarten for research and education guidance. In recent years, the Kindergarten has implemented several research projects that have trained groups of outstanding teachers.
Since the 1990s, research projects of kindergarten have focused on the development of children, with promoting the development of children's initiative as the core. With the gradual enhancement of the awareness and ability to observe and study children, teachers can consciously study their students in the classroom. Now, teachers are observers who can objectively describe the children, instructors who show concern to all as well as care for the special cases, and thinkers who respect and understand the children.
